Big Barnet Community Charity Car Wash

It’s that time of year again! Jesus House is preparing for its annual Car Wash.

Dates: 15th till the 20th of August
Time: 12pm till 6pm on each day
Locations: Jesus House car park - 112 Brent Terrace, London NW2 1LT &
1st Barnet Scout hut, Priory grove, off Westcombe Drive, Barnet Herts EN5 2BE
Donation: Minimum Donation of £5
Eco-friendly Option: Car owners can choose to get their cars washed using eco-friendly products whish will then incur a min donation of £10

Last year, our volunteer team had a great time washing cars and interacting with the community. This year it’s even bigger and better!

This year the face of the Car Wash operation has changed, what we have called The Big Barnet Charity Car Wash will be running at 2 separate locations simultaneously by 2 different teams, giving customers an opportunity to donate. Also a mobile team will visit different organisations and offer to wash their cars to raise more funds. We want to play our part in supporting the community through our outreach programs and by funding the growing needs of people who are facing difficult times in the Borough of Barnet.

This year, our goal is to raise funds to support charities such as; Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, The Manna Project, The London Regiment and Barnet Hospital Cancer Unit. To help us reach our goal, we need volunteers to wash and valet cars, bring baked goods for a charity bake sale and stay afterwards for cleanup.
