Most of us have a warm concept of what Christmas means, family get–togethers, piles of delicious food, beautifully wrapped presents, a tree and a long awaited gift. However, Christmas is really all about giving. The act of giving is the greatest expression of love that God modeled for us, and He wants us to show this to others.

Giving in itself has the power to open doors and hearts to the good news of Jesus Christ, the greatest gift to mankind. This act of giving enables people to experience a taste of God’s loving nature here on earth. Throughout the bible, particularly in the book of Acts, we see where entire communities would put together their possessions and goods to share with those who were less fortunate than them.
