Member Services

Membership is more than just a formality; it is a personal and public acknowledgement of your identification with Jesus House as a local body and as your home church. It means that you are in agreement with Jesus House - its doctrines, culture and mission - and that you have chosen to belong to Jesus House and its community of believers, whom you have decided to love and serve.  It also means you submit to the leadership and are willing to be shaped by them.

NEW TO JESUS HOUSE?

Our church is a vibrant ministry consumed by a passion for revival in London. Consisting of diverse groups of people from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, our common bond is a faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

The church is committed to building spirit-filled people whose lives will attract people to Christ. In addition to this the church promotes the development of strong family units with emphasis on stable marriages and healthy single living.

WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP?

  • Membership is a personal commitment: a voluntary decision  to be join a local body
  • Membership is about family: being there for one another
  • Membership is about purpose: identifying with the vision of the church & joining hands with others to bring that  vision to pass
  • Membership is about faith: living it out & growing in it together
  • Membership is about discipleship; learning the tools that will help us pursue God
  • Membership is about community: being integrated into the body of believers; the church
  • Membership is about fellowship: building strong relationships with one another.

 

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

We realise that most people require a reasonable amount of time before making a decision about membership, and rightly so.

As a result we have a New Members Evening every quarter to enable you understand a bit more about who we are and what we are about.

MEMBER SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The Member Services Department exists to support members of Jesus House. We are the first point of contact for all enquires. Enquiries vary from membership issues to helping members meet new friends. Even when we can’t help, we will try and find someone who can deal with your enquiry.

You can contact the Church Office during the hours of 11am - 6pm to speak to anyone in the department.
