This month, ‘the Pursuit of God’ has thus far exposed us to in-depth teachings on the efficacy of the Word of God. Faith is developed by meditating on His Word. We are learning how critical the bible is to building our faith as Christians.

Do you want to study the bible consistently, to meditate on its contents day and night as we are encouraged to do?

Pages bookshop would like to help enhance your bible study experience. Today for the first time Pages will be holding a bible study in the foyer. This is open to all. We have a selection of resource materials and study aids that will suit a range of needs, from beginners to advanced level study of the Word.

The Pages team will be on hand today to enlighten you on the scope of bibles, reference tools, commentaries and other relevant materials that will help you to press forward in your walk with God.

On Wednesday 16^th June 2010, there will be a communion service led Dr Okey Onuzo and on Friday the 18^th of June Dr Okey Onuzo will be laying hands on every one, please note that this is not an anointing service.

There is also prayer meetings taking place in the church at the following times:

Growing through Prayer

Everyone is encouraged to spend even more time in prayer as we pursue God diligently this month. In addition to our personal prayer times, corporate prayer meetings will also be taking place in church at the following times: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 7:30am, 1pm - 2pm and 7pm - 9pm. Saturday 7am - 9am and 7pm to 9pm.

Things to consider during the Fast

1. Prepare for the Fast

- Pray about the Fast, What are Gods own burdens for the fast, write down a framework for the fast.

2. Identify confess and repent of all revealed sin before the Fast.

3. Plan and purpose to pray continually

4. Plan and purpose to read the word continually. Determine to soak yourself in the word.

5. Plan a moment of stillness and quite

6. Keep a journal

7. Maintain an attitude of worship

8. Maintain an attitude of thanks giving.

9. Focus on each day, rather than the end of the Fast.
