In what ways can I get involved with the Church?

There are many ways to get involved in the church’s activities.

A good way to start would be to officially join the church as a member and attend a New Members’ Evening. Here, you will have the chance to find out more about the church and meet  the pastors, church leadership and other members. This will enable you gain a better understanding of what the church is about and the work that the various departments are involved in.

You can also become a worker in the church and work within a specific department such as Ushering, Hospitality or The Brook café. To do this, Workers’ Training must be completed (see the next FAQ).

During the month of February, the workforce is rested so that there is an opportunity for people to volunteers with various departments.  If you are interesting in this, please contact the Ministries Department.

Finally, there are numerous projects and events going in the church throughout the year (such as Christmas Lunch on Jesus, Summer Car wash etc) and volunteers are always needed. Please be sure to listen out for any announcements made from the pulpit and in the bulletin.
