On Friday I got into trouble and my father was very upset and lashed out at me saying that he does not care about me anymore, he also said he had given up on me.

I spoke to my friend about this as the situation got me in a state of depression.

A day after, my father apologised to me and now my relationship with him has improved and we better understand each other
