Jeans for Genes is a UK children's charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.

GENETIC DISORDERS - THE FACTS

• There are more than 4,500 genetic conditions and there are many more that doctors are yet to name.
• Individually, genetic conditions are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 babies born in the UK.
• Jeans for Genes aims to support services that make children's day to day lives easier and more enjoyable. In the long term, the research will increase understanding about the causes of these conditions, help to establish standards of care and eventually find ways of curing disorders which can seriously affect children's lives.

As part of the 'Make an Impact' Campaign, ReConnect, our young peoples' ministry here at Jesus House will be raising money for this cause. There will be a cake sale, cake bidding and a cake raffle draw! Not only will you be making an impact into the lives of Children in need but you will also get to tantalise your senses with some of the best cakes in the house! The cake sale will run all day Sunday the 3rd October in the foyer.
