Job Offer

I'd like to thank the Lord for His never ending faithfulness.

Once again He has shown me that he is an on time God. I have been trusting the Lord for a new job for just over 1 year now. In January when I was writing my prayer points for the year it was near the top of the list. I had prayed and fasted regarding it and wasn't seeing any progress. I trusted God that in His own time He will come through for me.

This year at POG I experienced God in a different way and my only request was for more of Him in my life and in my family. I didn't ask for anything else. At the end of POG Doc said in the next 3 days and I held onto that, I didn't know what I was holding on for but I knew God had a plan. 3 days came and went and the enemy wanted me to give up, but I trusted God that He was working something out on my behalf. The very next day I received and email inviting me for an interview. I couldn't remember applying for the job. I had to search my emails for the application I'd sent. The date was 2 days before the start of POG. Once POG had started I completely forgot about it and made seeking God my priority.

Last week I went for the interview. Whenever I answered a question those interviewing me would say "I couldn't have put it better myself." Inside I thanked God for such favour. After I left the interview I went home. 3 hours later I got a call informing me I got the job. Not 3 days later but 3 hours! The scripture the Lord brought to my mind was Matthew 6:33, " seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you". When I made God my number one focus He made a way for me. I will always keep Him as number one in my life because He deserves my full focus and adoration.
