Summerfest

Summerfest 2010 was a great time to spend with family and friends.

From the Community Carwash that drew hundreds of people across Barnet and beyond to visit Jesus House to the CSR fundraising Day, the Summer Hair Fair, Jesus House barbeque, Novo Centre Open Evening, Tightknots Couples Weekend Away, the Football Academy and many other events.

Jesus House became the ultimate community hotspot over the months of July and August.
I hope you are all enjoying the last bit of summer and the beginning of the "back to school" season! Although summer has come to an end we are grateful for all we have experienced over the past months.

We are especially thankful because it was a season of Fun, Family, Laughter and Love. As this summer draws to an end, we are hopeful for the new things to come.

Carwash 2010

Growing in size and popularity year on year, Community Carwash - is one of our biggest events in the summer. It is a community favourite that draws people from all across Barnet and Brent. This event was definitely one of the events that made the church the ultimate community hotspot this summer.

Cars were washed by members of the community and the church and there is no entrance fee, it was free! On the last day of Car Wash (21st of August) ended with a barbeque to celebrate the summer. It was an opportunity to invite friends and family to come and get their car washed for free and meet new friends, enjoy refreshments and experience Christ-like hospitality.

Summer Hair Fair – ‘The Trilogy’

This was the third annual summer hair fair at Jesus House. Those that attended were treated to a complete hairstyle and make up for a fee of £3. You could even get your eyebrows done too! These were just some of the great offers that were available to those that attended the Summer Hair Fair.

CSR Fundraising Day

This fundraising market saw Jesus House carpark turned into a market place to raise funds for charitable projects locally and internationally. Designer clothes, handbags, household items on sale for rock bottom prices, and there was a barbeque as well. All in aid of raising much needed funds for those in need.
