Testimony of Healing

Glory be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who by his blood made us whole and by his stripes we were healed. The Lord healed me from having a surgical operation (at Moorfield Eye Hospital) in my Right Eye. The problem began after being hit on my right eye on three occasions by a child with special needs, whilst working at school. From then on I began to experience pain in my right eye. I decided to see my GP who examined me and made a referral to Moorfield Eye Hospital. To cut a long story short, I was told by a consultant that the only answer to my problem was to have surgery. My answer was NO. The consultant said Ok and told me to continue with the drops and that we would see how it goes from there. Knowing that I had been using the eye drops for months and the condition of my eye was deteriorating, I at that moment, started believing God for a miracle.

T0 THE GLORY OF GOD, I received my healing in the first week of the Pursuit of God conference. To be precise, it happened on the 2nd June 2013. During the ministration by Rev Joe Olaiya, he called for anyone with any form of sickness in his/her body to step out for a healing prayer. I took a step of faith to the front.

When Rev Joe prayed for me, he touched my right eye and as soon as he did so, hot water came out of my eye and suddenly I found myself on the floor speaking in tongues. From the time Rev Joe prayed with me, until the service was over, water was constantly coming out of my eye.

When I got home after the service, I experienced a sharp pain in the same eye. At this point my faith was not shaken, knowing that I received my healing when Rev Joe prayed and also remembering that before he stated praying he preached and said that “ALL HE NEEDS IS OUR FAITH”.

Bearing this in mind, I sat on my bed asking GOD to complete the surgery which he began, quoting scriptures in relation to Gods promises about healing, claiming that my healing was permanent also thanking HIM for healing me. Whilst I was praying, warm water was constantly coming out of my eye. I carried on praying until I prayed myself to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning to pray and get ready for work, I felt no pain in my right eye! Not only that, but my sight also returned to normal! PRAISE GOD. At this point I started singing, dancing and disturbing my daughters in the house, without caring whether they were asleep or not because I knew that this was the LORD’s doing and I had to praise His Holy name!!!!!!!!!
