Thanksgiving

Thank you Lord

“In that day you will say: "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
Isaiah 12:4 (NIV)

We say ‘thank you’, sometimes automatically but do we really mean it?  Probably, but it has become second nature to some of us, so much that we do not actually spend time really thinking about what it means to be thankful.   We say it because it is the polite thing to say, and maybe because it is the expected response. In every situation there are always reasons to thank God,  even during the challenges and when there is a breakthrough.

One of the ways that we can give thanks to God is to testify. To testify is to give evidence or proof; a testimony is a declaration or evidence of what God has done.  Testimonies tell of what God has done and encourage others who are waiting on God.

Have you got a reason to be grateful about something? Has God done something NEW for you?

Do you have a testimony?  Something that will encourage others?

Please let us know about how good God has been to you by using the testimony forms at the Front of House or email testimonies@jesushouse.org.uk
