Thanksgiving

It started the Pursuit of God approximately 12days late due to being in university. However, ever since I started, I have been feeling refreshed.

The first is to thank God for favour, on the third day of my Pursuit of God, I applied for a job and was granted an interview. I know its not right to give a half-complete testimony, but in everything you must give thanks and I'm thanking God for the progress so far.

The second is that I was wondering how I would get to London for the interview and God used someone to provide me with a train ticket. To elaborate further, my university is on the brink of civilization and so train tickets start from £55 onwards if not booked in advanced.

The third testimony is for granting my parents journey mercies as they returned from Nigeria.

The fourth testimony has been ongoing. When I was younger, my mother would always pray that her children shall have wisdom, knowledge and understanding and I remember praying such prayers before morning devotion and afterwards. I did not realise that God had answered those prayers until recently when I encountered some mature students who failed to believe my age as I was able to interact and contribute to their discussions on life and education. When I did say how old I was, one of the mature students then replied that my wisdom is like that of an old woman yet I have not lived as many years on earth.

Parents, please do not neglect to pray for your children and let these prayer points stretch beyond being centered on their finances, future partners but rather, encourage your children to seek wisdom, thirst for knowledge and crave understanding from God. When God blesses your children with these three attributes, believe me, everything else will fall into place.

God bless.
