What do I have to do?
The Christian journey begins with the acceptance that we have sinned and are incapable of attaining righteousness on our own: “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NIV. We must then place our trust in Jesus Christ by repenting of our sins and asking him to forgive us and cleanse us of our unrighteousness: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23.
How to give your life to Christ:
1. Admit you are a sinner in need of forgiveness
2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave
3. Through prayer, confess that Jesus is the only way to God and commit to live for him for the rest of your life.
The bible says: "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

I am ready to receive Jesus Christ - What to Pray
Dear Lord Jesus,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave to give me life eternal. I know you are the only way to God. So now I want to put aside my disobedient ways and start living for you. I now invite you to come into my heart and life. Please forgive me, change my life, and show me how to know you better. In your name I pray. Amen
